Level A: Black Keys
Level A gives beginners a clear starting point in their piano education. Off-staff pieces using only black keys allow students to build confidence at the keyboard while developing rhythm, coordination, and directional reading. The clean, age-neutral design is ideal for children, teens, and adults in both private and group settings.
Students will learn:
Hands and finger numbers
Off-staff pieces using black keys
Quarter, half, dotted-half, and whole notes and corresponding corresponding rests
Clefs, stem direction, bar lines, measures, double bar line, brace
4/4 and 3/4 time signatures
Skipping-fingers (2 and 4)
Early composition and improvisation on black keys

Level B: White Keys
Level B introduces the white keys and the musical alphabet using off-staff alpha-note notation. Pentascales, arpeggios, and solfege are integrated throughout, strengthening technique and keyboard geography before the staff is introduced. The clean, age-neutral design is ideal for children, teens, and adults in both private and group settings.
Students will learn:
The musical alphabet
Pentascales in C, G, Dm, and Am
Arpeggios in C, G, F, Dm, Am, and Em
Major and minor Solfege (Moveable Do)
Hands together in parallel motion
Dynamics: piano and forte

Level c: The Staff
Level C introduces the staff gradually, helping students build confidence. Through intervallic reading, mnemonics, and varied hand positions, students develop full-staff fluency and are prepared to read independently and transition smoothly into repertoire beyond the method..The clean, age-neutral design is ideal for children, teens, and adults in both private and group settings.
Students will learn:
The grand staff
Harmonic and melodic intervals: 2nds, 3rds, and 5ths
All lines and spaces of treble and bass clef
Mnemonics for lines and spaces
Sharps and flats
Moving hand positions (non-positional reading)
Major and minor pentascales and triads: C, D, E, F, G, A
